Depression unfortunately with buspirone it does take some time to work it can be 2 to 4 weeks before you really notice that anti-anxiety effects set in buspirone is not effective when used on an as-needed basis it must be taken consistently the last thing to note here is that we decrease the dose by 25 to 50 percent in individuals who have a creatinine clearance
