Some of them are mild and other side effects can be concerning and you need to watch out for them and take steps to closely monitor it with your doctor. Lisinopril is taken by mouth as a tablet and the strength are as follows it comes in 2.5 milligram, 5 milligram, 10 milligram, 20 milligram and 40 milligrams. if you have difficulty swallowing, the tablet can be crushed, or you can take the liquid formulation which comes in one milligram per ml. it is taken once a day
